Went to Murrayfield with Ian and Neil McMillan for the Scotland Ireland game at the weekend. Texts from Neville that the engine was going in kept me distracted – though far less than did a call from Emma about getting concertinaed in her beautiful little classic Mini on Kew Bridge Road, thankfully unhurt but car wrecked. Try sorting out car insurance from inside the crowd at a crucial international! Neville says the Fury passenger footwell and pedal box needs some re-working to fit but otherwise the installation seems OK and though a crack has been found in the inlet manifold I’ve Alistair’s old one to replace it. Ordered a few parts from Autolink - cam belt, water pump and inlet manifold gasket.
