I spent a lot of time trying to finish last weeks efforts with the wiring on the right of the engine bay, It's a very "busy" area and I need to be careful to avoid the risk that SVA says wires could interfere with throttle / suspension / steering. It's looking better now. I don't seem to have knicked any wires - she still started up without problems. Then I switched to making the panels that fill in the gap between the body, the sidepod and the passenger areas just ahead of the rear wheels. I made a rough template out of cardboard then transcribed that to aluminium sheet. It is a complex curve on one side, a bend towards the bottom and a notch on the other side. I nearly, but not quite, forgot to mirror the left and right hand sides. I used Nev's electric nibbler to trim them - the edges don't need to be neat and as you can see it is sealed in with fibreglass - the metal needs to be a very loose fit to avoid stressing the body in use, it's the matting that allows some give. I rivetted the lower part to the chassis then used chopped strand mat to bind it to the car. I only managed the faces inside the tub today.

Meanwhile Neville has started building up the bonnet to cover the engine. Not pretty at this stage but it will be soon.
