19th August

Having learned how to drill quietly, hoped to do whole floor today. It’s our wedding anniversary so thought I would not. But Catherine, superstar that she is, said “Go and play Brrm Brrms!” Very straightforward today apart from rain stopping play for a while. Slight puzzle about forward sill supports but assume two of each means make double thickness because it is bearing a lot of weight. (Wrong, one is for upper support for side pod). Anyway that’s what I’ve done.

Then Catherine (double Gold Star) came out to help flip the chassis back. I also made two seat belt anchor holes in the very first panel I did so apart from the handbrake slot and gearlever slot and de-burring all holes, they are ready for powder coating.
