Well it dried up. I filled the gearbox with oil then remembered I had not changed the washer on the drain plug. Drained the gearbox and tried again. Filled the gearbox extension with oil and fitted the new gaiter. I had overfilled the extension so a bit of mopping up! Then I fitted the two side pod extension supports either side of the engine bay, which you can just see with a line of rivets behind the front hub. Then the radiator. The latter was not easy and needed a bit of cutting of the uprights and of course I sliced my wrist and fingers on the fine metal edges. Finally it was done! The metal bar in front of the rad is the bonnet hinge.
