Had about 4.5 hours down at Oakhanger on Sunday. Re-installed fuel pump and filter on back of drivers seat panel below tank level and above risk of interference from axle etc and re-routed pipes loosely. Secured remaining rivets in seat panels and fixed forward top panel on transmission tunnel. You can see the rubber covered pump in the background and the filter in foreground just behind the right hand coil spring. Then I unbolted the front shock absorbers and springs and used Nev's compressors to enable me to lift the base plates to the top of the threaded section to keep the ride height high enough for the SVA. (That was heavy and sweaty work and took about 2 hours or more on my own if including the re-installation!) Finally I made an opening in the nearside tunnel panel for access to the reverse light switch. Nev has done a great job fitting the bonnet and started on the side pod fixings but we must remember to change the bolts on the trailing arms which Nev spotted were too short for safety. He has also fitted a handbrake switch which astonished me by looking to have been dead easy - of course once you know how.
