MX5 Fisher Fury build diary

I got a pass after doing some Christmas errands. Glorious sunny day and Alistair said he would come and help, plus bring his MX5 so we roared down with the roof off (very cold) and had a wiring model. Unfortunately all my ideas failed, and the engine even shorted out on cranking now, which it did not do last week. Back to the drawing board, except that there are no drawings for mating a Ford / Mazda /Rover melange.
