MX5 Fisher Fury build diary

Last weekend I drove down to Romney Marsh to collect the gearbox which looks fine but needs cleaning up. Scrappy has still not got the engine out of the MX5 and I’m off to Asia for a couple of weekends so it will have to wait now. Front springs arrived from Fisher and new old-stock brake discs from eBay. Hoping that XL has finally managed to get the calliper overhaul kit so that I can do that job. A contact via the Locost site says he got the gearbox in by using an old Cortina mount. I am quite puzzled how I’ll get this done but no longer overwhelmed by the challenges
