Had another look at things and made a full list. First concern is the missing bolts under the engine gearbox as shown. Are they or are they not needed?
Then I had a good sort throught the electrical connectors and plugs. I've been able to identify a lot of them now and if I can get the parts it should be straightforward. Annoyingly the Haynes manual is a US version and uses terms that we don't so some dealers get confused. Also most of them want to sell plug and play components rather than hunt through looms and cut them off for me. But it's starting to make some sense! Here's the latest engine photo.
