MX5 Fisher Fury build diary

I've weeded out the irrelevant parts of the loom so next job will be to test the circuits for continuity and rejoin the odd wire that I had to cut to untangle it from something useless like the electric window circuits. I'll try to get around the need for a clutch switch by putting a "Start" button on the ignition circuit so when the great day arrives I will need to press that and turn the key together. There are lots of black earth wires in the loom and I'll need to link them again where they have been cut.

The radiator, fan and spare sheet of aluminium for the exhaust heat shield arrived from BGH / Cranbrook / Fisher today. Beautifully packed. No mounting kit which I had asked for. Only took a month to get them!
