MX5 Fisher Fury build diary

BGH left a message on Thursday to say that they have the radiator and fan ready so I need to get in touch. Today I stretched out the loom that came from Dave Philips and started working through the wiring diagrams and comparing it with the residual wires on my engine. Very puzzled by an extra branch on mine but reading between the lines it probably relates to an automatic gearbox lock out on the ignition switch. Alistair came out and thanks to his MX5 being dismantled we were able to trace the components I'll need and the wires that will be superfluous. Got a lot labelled and clear in my mind. I'll need to take a few bits off my engine to fit the other loom on to it but it looks like it will be time consuming rather than chaotic. Still nothing from Dave on the other parts he is supposed to be dispatching to me so I'll write to him tonight.
