Thanks to the MX5Nutz a lot of clouds lifted. Mine is a Japanese engine and I've a UK loom I think which means many of the US complexities in the Haynes manual go away. Alistair came out and we went over possible ECU locations, wiring routes etc. It looks like I really need to get the fuel lines clipped in (30cm gaps between P clips per SVA rules), and the forward tub inner panels on, with the rivnuts for the tunnel top leaving me free to get access as I need it. I'll get in touch with Neville to arrange to collect body and come up and agree a re-route for the handbrake cable and re-weld the Panhard rod mount. He's also making the clutch pipe. This weekend (subject to the weather) I'll do the above, change the gearbox top shroud, fill the extension with oil, fit the heat shield panel beside the exhaust, and fit the radiator. I'll need to buy new gearbox and engine plug washers, a few Jubilee clips and maybe some connector blocks.
